Chassis with tubes. I tested all the tubes with a tube tester at a local electronic store that still had one: EPO.

I Replaced all Capacitors and select resistors that were significantly out of tolerance. FOund a schematic online. I followed this great guide on how to do this: https://antiqueradio.org/recap.htm.

Finished by restoring the wood. I used a mixture of 3/4 canola oil and 1/4 vinegar. I rubbed it on with cloth and used steel wool for select areas which the grime would not come off. I used this guide.
Additionally I removed the plastic cover and cleaned it with soap and water. The fabric speaker cover I left alone. Thank you for reading! |
