Hello ya'll! I know it has been a while, but we finally got the virtual Ramblin Wreck mix finished! and I'm super excited to release it to ya'll! Hope you enjoy!
Thanks to everyone who submitted parts! In total we had 21 submission with 15 different people from band and choir including trumpets, a flute, and an electric guitar (acting as tuba). We also overlayed a melody only part to assist in actually hearing the melody. Joey also worked on creating a cool volume automation program to help the melody stand out more!
Special thanks to Joey Homiller for mixing it all together! Also thanks to Sameer Suri for helping with the score! Thanks again everyone!

With all of us under a stay a home order because of coronavirus, the choir would like to join with the band to create a virtual recording of Ramblin' Wreck! All files and instructions for recording are included below. Files below contain sheet music for band and choir, and a click track for band and midi track for choir. Please record an audio or video file of you singing this piece with your respective audio track and upload it to the file upload form below.
Deadline: Sunday, May 3rd
We will accept audio only or video with audio submissions. You can record audio or video separately if you prefer, although you must have an audio track to go with your video in a separate submission.
Your both allowed and encouraged to submit multiple parts! Only one video recording will be used per type of instrument.

* This helps so there is nothing distracting behind any one person in the recording when everyone is shown together. Just find an empty wall or move a few things and stand/sit a foot or two in front of it. If you can't do this just try to make your background as simple and clear as possible. Optional:

Logistics of combining the pieces if you're interested: Since the band is in Eb, the choir SATB piece was tranposed to Eb as well. Tempo was standardized to 132bpm. Band is still in 2 while choir is in 4 (however this doesn't make a difference when combining). The choir has an intro that doesn't match the band, This will be used to create a separate choir only recording. The band and choir recording will start with the band, and the choir entrance will be cut in editing to start with the sopranos at the end of measure four on ("I'm a ...."). Just sing normally from the beginning with the choir entrance as written if you are in the choir.
Thanks! I look forward to hearing this whole thing together!
